- This research was conducted with the aim of determining suitable cross combination by crossing parents in different combinations. For this aim, HTBLC * YTDLY and HTBRV*YTDLY crosses were produced by using parents lines which encoded as HTBLC, HTBRV and YTDLY. The research was lasted for 80 weeks and 200 hens from each cross (total 200 hens) were used.

While viability, egg weight, 80th week weight, albumen height and haugh unit were found significantly different between cross combinations, the hen-day egg yield, pullet and layer period feed consumption, initial live weight, 72nd week weight, egg shell thickness and egg shell strength were not found significantly different.

The results showed that HTBRV*YTDLY cross combination was superior to other combination in terms of characteristics except for viability. Keywords : Hen, Crossing, white layer, yield, egg quality
